Wantage is a market town in Oxfordshire, with a population of 11,327. The current average sale price is £333,255. The town lies on Letcombe Brook and is 8 miles southwest of Abingdon and 15 miles southwest of Oxford.

Wantage was recorded in the Domesday Book of 1086. The town is known for being the birthplace of Alfred the Great in 849.
